Oxobox Unified Dashboards: Total Visibility Across the Media Supply Chain

At Oxobox, our philosophy on dashboards was inspired decades ago. Back in the late 1990s, Kaplan’s book The Balanced Scorecard introduced the idea of focusing on the minimum essential information needed to understand the whole system. That principle became the foundation of our own dashboard design.

We realized that operations teams didn’t need endless spreadsheets and static reports—they needed a clear, real-time view of every deliverable’s status. To achieve this, we built a system that uses a color-coded metaphor to instantly reflect progress and decision points:

  • Gray: uncertainty, work pending.

  • Yellow: task completed by the operator.

  • Green: happiness—someone approved the work.

  • Red: rejection, revision required.

  • Light Blue (Celestial): ultimate happiness—final approval, ready for delivery.

Over time, we added additional states for more complex workflows, with colors representing both the general status of the asset and the granular status of critical tasks.

This approach may seem simple, but it’s transformative. By standardizing project visibility into a shared visual language, teams across operations, planning, and acquisitions can instantly understand project health without needing to dive into raw data.

And we set a golden rule: nothing that isn’t “Celeste” should ever be delivered to a client. That standard of clarity and discipline has been loved by every team that adopted Oxobox to manage their audiovisual projects.

The strategic advantage of unified dashboards is clear:

  • Total visibility of every deliverable, across every stage.

  • Real-time decision making without waiting for manual updates.

  • Cultural alignment: teams rally around a shared language of progress and quality.

Experience how Oxfox Digital Asset Management provides total operational control through its Unified Dashboard — a centralized command center for managing large-scale content workflows.

In this video, you’ll see how the dashboard empowers teams to:

  • Monitor tasks, asset status, QC results, localization milestones, and delivery readiness in real time.
  • Use interactive status indicators to access detailed pages and instantly launch assets in the Package Player.
  • Leverage advanced search and filtering tools to build multi-layered, reusable views for Project Managers.
  • Export data as Excel spreadsheets for client updates, audit logs, or external reporting with a single click.

This seamless connection between data and action ensures that no insight is lost, enabling maximum clarity, speed, and precision across multi-title and multi-vendor projects.
